Job description
Do you get energy from solving IT problems? Do you enjoy helping colleagues and making sure everyone can work without technical issues? Then we're looking for you!
At Realworks, we're looking for an IT Support Specialist who can support colleagues with their hardware and software needs. Whether it's a laptop that isn't working, an application that keeps crashing, or a headset that's stopped working, you make sure your colleagues can get back to work as quickly as possible. You'll also help us find smarter and more efficient ways to manage our digital workplaces and IT processes.
You'll work in an international environment in the heart of Amsterdam. From our office, around 130 colleagues work together to develop smart software solutions for thousands of real estate agents.
No two days are the same. Your work will be a combination of planned tasks within our Scrum sprints and day-to-day IT support requests from colleagues. You'll have plenty of freedom to work independently, take initiative, and suggest improvements. And if you ever get stuck, your technical colleagues will be there to help.
π What will your impact be?
As an IT Support Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for colleagues who need help with their hardware, software, or digital workplace.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Supporting colleagues with IT issues related to laptops, phones, and applications in both Windows and macOS environments;
Preparing and providing laptops for new colleagues, ensuring they have everything they need to get off to a great start;
Testing, installing, and managing software and applications used by colleagues in their daily work;
Registering, managing, and resolving IT tickets, questions, and requests in Jira;
Handling tickets related to our security software, CrowdStrike, and working with Microsoft Intune and Jamf for device management;
Investigating and resolving first-line network issues, such as problems related to email, DHCP, DNS, and VPN;
Communicating with hardware and software suppliers when needed;
Keeping IT documentation up to date in Confluence and contributing ideas to improve our processes;
Supporting your colleagues in system administration with various technical tasks.
π₯ Your team
You'll become part of our IT Support team, where you and one other colleague will make sure everyone at Realworks can work comfortably and without IT issues. You'll also work closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters. Together, you'll explore ways to improve our IT environment and processes while maintaining a healthy balance between planned work and daily IT support requests.
π What do you bring to the table?
You have a genuine interest in IT, enjoy solving problems, and find it easy to communicate with colleagues. You also recognise yourself in the following:
You have completed an MBO level 4 qualification in ICT (Dutch vocational education), or have an equivalent level of education and experience;
You have some experience in IT support, for example through an internship or your first job;
You have basic knowledge of supporting users and troubleshooting IT issues in both Windows and macOS environments;
You're interested in setting up and managing laptops, software, and other IT equipment;
You have a good command of both Dutch and English;
Experience with the Atlassian suite, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, or Jamf is a plus;
You live within approximately 30 to 45 minutes' commuting distance of our Amsterdam office.
Don't tick every box but feel this role could be a great fit for you? We'd still love to hear from you.

The chance to contribute ideas and improvements to our IT environment and work processes.
Working at Realworks also means:
