Interview with Ardit

Can you tell me a bit about yourself and your background?

Sure, my name is Ardit, and I've been working as a frontend developer for the past six years. Before joining Realworks, I worked remotely for a company in Albania. I just moved to the Netherlands in February 2023.

 What motivated you to join Realworks?

I joined Realworks from February 2023, and it's a great opportunity for me to grow as a developer. It's a nice next step for my career, and so far, I've been enjoying working here. The interview process was smooth and transparent, and I really appreciated that.

 Can you describe your team?

Currently I'm part of team Wonen-Ankoop, but in a few weeks I will be joining the newest team at Realworks, called Wonen-Verkoop. My colleagues have been very welcoming and helpful. I'm particularly enjoying working for a product-based company with multiple teams all working towards the same goal.

 What does your typical workday look like?

I usually come to the office 2-3 times a week, starting at 8:30 or 9:00 AM until 5:00 or 5:30 PM. We have a great office environment, and I enjoy coming in. The company provides free lunch, which is convenient. The office is close to my home, so it's a short 20-minute bike ride.

 What was your first week at Realworks like?

It was a very welcoming experience, and I had lots of opportunities to meet with other teams. Everything is clearer now, and I'm already researching for new projects.

 How was your experience relocating to the Netherlands?

The relocation process was straightforward and well-organised. Realworks took care of most of the paperwork, and Isa Beau helped me find a place to live, which was very helpful since I wasn't familiar with Amsterdam before starting at Realworks. Overall, the experience was great, and I appreciate how smoothly everything went.
